If you’re stuck at home, or simply in need of some TLC amidst the anxiety that has arrived alongside the new coronavirus, consider upping your DIY salon game with the 3-step facial that celebrity skin expert Joanna Czech swears by. (Czech has had her hands on practically every A-Lister, from Kim Kardashian West to Christy Turlington Burns.) According to the pro, a thorough at-home facial can be totally successful—and quick!—when done right. Here is her 5-minute step-by-step DIY guide for flawless skin in a flash.

Tone

First, dab a toner like Tammy Fender's chamomile tonic onto a cotton pad and sweep across the face to pick up any excess dirt post-cleansing. Then, prep an ice cube tray with brewed green tea—the anti-inflammatory cubes will be used later.

Sculpt

Next, Czech advises clients to pick up a trusty facial massager, like the pro's own expert aluminum and zinc-crafted tool, to warm up and sculpt muscles, paying special attention to the jawline and cheekbones. Meant to mimic the hands of an aesthetician, a face roller helps de-puff and boost circulation, as well as allowing products to penetrate deeper into the skin.

Hydrate

Apply a thin layer of a hydrating cream like Augustinus Bader's cult rich cream, which combines over 30 years of stem cell research with a super hydrating and anti-aging formula, and slip on a sheet mask, like Czech's favorite: 111 Skin's Bio Cellulose Treatment Mask. Leave on for 5 minutes.

De-Puff

The final step? Grab those trusty ice cubes that have been chilling in your freezer, wrap them up in gauze, and run over your skin, focusing on the eye and forehead areas.

"Your skin will be brighter, tighter and lifted," says Czech. Without even leaving the house.
