Costa Brazil
I am a big fan of oils for the skin and I have been prescribing them to my clients for 30+ years. I have tried many and I am always on the lookout for new ones.
Recently, I was lucky enough to meet with aesthete Francisco Costa, whose skin care line Costa Brazil just launched. I have not met a person whose taste in EVERYTHING is as exquisite as Francisco’s. I would love for him to design my entire life, but I will have to settle for his products at the moment.
Oils anchor the skincare portion of his line (which also includes a resin incense and a candle, whose scents are fantastic.) And his oils, are not just any oils.
Costa Brazil uses precious ingredients, sourced deep within the Amazon rainforest. At the core of their skincare products is their Jungle Complex, an exclusive beauty trinity containing mineral-rich Kaya, antioxidant-packed Cacay and the sacred soothing properties of Breu resin. This singular, high-potency blend was created by Costa after working with a team of scientists and local agriculturists to combine advanced modern technologies with the nourishing powers of the natural world.
Kaya, Cacay, and Breu are wild-harvested, meaning that no trees are cut down in the process. The ingredients are gathered once they have fallen, or have naturally been emitted, and then cold-pressed for use in these special products.
Each oil is bottled in biodegradable glass that is made with 100% recyclable materials. And the bottles are brilliantly housed in a rubber bottom, to ensure safe handling and no slippage from oily fingers.
