Biologique Recherche was created by a biologist, a physiotherapist, and a doctor, who combined their skills and knowledge to create a skincare line rooted in science. The brand’s initial mission was to develop formulations for professionals who were dissatisfied with existing products.

I have been using the French line for over 25 years both personally and professionally. While it is imperative to work with your esthetician to create the right prescription of proper products, once you start adding them to your skincare routine, the results are undeniable.

Masque Vivant
This multi-functional mask, rich in antioxidants, will purify the epidermis, regulate oil secretion, unclog and tighten pores, as well as revitalize your skin. It also contains lactic acid, which helps reduce acne breakouts and minimize water loss. 
Pro Tip: For a brightening and purifying treatment, mix Masque Vivant with Masque VIP 02 and a pinch of baking soda.

Creme Masque Vernix
A super-rich mix of lipids, proteins and antioxidant peptides, Masque Vernix was designed to mimic vernix - the soothing, wax-like coating of nutrients that envelops newborns at birth. Depending on how thickly you apply it, it can be used as an airy, protective moisturizer or as 10-minute mask that deeply hydrates.

 

Lotion P50
This balancing micro-exfoliating toner is available in 6 different strengths depending on your skin’s condition. It balances the skin’s pH, de-flakes, regulates oil production, and sets the stage for the rest of your regimen. Its main role is to keep skin at the optimal pH level of 5.5, and initially, if your skin isn’t balanced, it can tingle. After a while, you don’t feel that same discomfort - that’s when you know it’s working - your skin isn’t too acidic or alkaline. 

Lait E.V
This milky face wash, with added vitamins is great for dehydrated, dull and / or mature skin conditions. Its amniotic fluid compound makes it a great option for removing makeup and impurities while also nourishing and soothing the skin. Vitamin E will help the penetration of other compounds into the skin, while vitamin F will help form a stronger lipid barrier to resist to external aggressions.

Sérum Placenta
Sérum Placenta is an intensive repairing serum. Containing placental biostimulant protein extracts, this healing and regenerating serum can be used to strengthen and re-build the skin. Ideal for post-acne scarring and after peels or any form of epidermal exfoliation. This serum can also be used on the eye area for an instant reduction of puffiness.

Serum Complexe Iribiol
This is a purifying serum aimed at preventing and alleviating skin imperfections by regulating sebum secretion and reducing inflammation thanks to antimicrobial active ingredients. The salicylic acid will clear out follicles of excess debris and skin cells while the zinc will heal the epidermis.
